The .one Foundation is a Canadian nonprofit developing civic infrastructure for the digital age. Its mission is to help societies understand public opinion more continuously, transparently, and accurately.
Its flagship initiative, .one, transforms civic expression into measurable civic signal by structuring and connecting shared civic positions so they can be aggregated and measured over time.
The Foundation is also developing the Open Civic Grammar, an open standard for structuring Civic Functions according to shared, transparent rules that can support researchers, civil society, institutions, and civic technology projects beyond the .one platform.

Founder & Director
Michael Edmunds is the founder of The .one Foundation and architect of the .one civic platform. His work builds on nearly three decades examining the relationship between commercial and civic feedback loops and developing a platform capable of aggregating civic demand. He believes AI can help societies learn to listen—making possible the work he is now pursuing through .one. Michael is Canadian and based in Busan, South Korea.
